Celebrating BIPOC Players

Unlike other sports, hockey has not always responded well to diversity, inclusion and social change. As a result of positive measures taken over the years by the NHL and Hockey Canada to address the hockey culture and systemic racism, Blacks, Indigenous and people of colour have come to embrace the sport of hockey and achieved success along the way like the following players.
